This article includes only the actual shower head, if you want to use it as a hand shower if you must buy the support (~ $ 6) and a hose (~ $ 10). So even if it seems cheap at $ 17 after buying the necessary accessories, it is about the same as name brand kits.
The flow is good, as is the pressure. The stream is very narrow and not as spread out as many shower heads.
The plastic thread is probably a little tight. I stretched as much as I could, anduse teflon tape but still falls a little.
Shower is loud! Almost twice as loud as other showers, this is due to the fact that the turbine powers the LEDs. Its not going to give you a headache or something, it just takes a little getting used to. Makes it difficult, or talk to someone outside the shower to hear.
The LEDs are very, very cool. Bright enough to see with the lights be on, but I recommend it in complete darkness! The LEDs have the six stages
Green- Cold / cool
Blinks green to blue - Warm
Blue - Just Right
Flashing blue to red - hot
Red - Very Hot
Flickering Red - Scalding (not sure if it is to do this or if my
Shower too hot to handle for temperature sensor)
Overall, this is a very nice product for the price. It's all plastic and very lightweight, the beautiful when it is operating but the shelf life worries me.
Great conversation starter, but some may look at you a little strange when you say "hey come check out my shower!"
